When shopping for someone for the holidays, you can always check their Amazon Wish List. But where is the fun in that?
Many holiday markets — like the 10 we’ve compiled here — will give you the opportunity to give something special, meaningful, and made by someone right here in Utah.
Buying local means your dollars are going into local pockets instead of big business, after a pandemic has hurt many small businesses.
“This year, we know that small businesses need our support more than ever,” the US Small Business Administration says on its website, “as they navigate, reorganize and pivot from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.” .
Usually the artists themselves will be on the other side of the table, so you can meet the likes of Megan Hindman, Jazmin Gallegos and Lexi Dowdell – all of whom have shared their approaches to art with The Salt Lake Tribune.
So enjoy the hunt this Christmas season and let this list of Utah holiday markets guide you.
